Local work within Wollongong
Randstad are currently sourcing Trade qualified Experienced Automotive spray painters and panel beaters to work within a state of art Transport, vehicle storage and processing site in Kembla Grange, we are looking for honest, energetic and hardworking people to join the dynamic and growing team with an exceptional eye to detail.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Spray painting

Repaint and touch ups

Preparation for painting, rubbing back and priming.

General maintenance of work area

Removing, repairing & replacing damaged panels on any vehicle

Making or forming panels to replaced damaged ones

Repair dents on a damaged vehicle using fillers

Filing, grinding & sanding the body of a vehicle to restore a smooth vehicle surface

Re-fit body hardware, such as door locks

Realign chassis & body frames

Removing & replacing a vehicle’s auto-electric components if damaged

To be eligible you must have:

Full Class C drivers licence or higher

Able to drive confidently manual and automatic vehicles

Ability to work at a fast pace and work under pressure

A clean driving record demonstrating your safe driving history - able to obtain a print out of this from your local RMS branch

An exceptional eye for detail with recent experience within the Automotive Industry | Trade Recognition | Certificate in either spray painting or panel beating

Please note:

Successful applicants placed in the role may be subject to regular onsite drug and alcohol testing.
