The Business Improvement and Assurance Division (BIAD) supports UOW's ability to deliver on its strategic plan and manage risks by resourcing prioritised strategic initiatives and enabling units to deliver efficient, effective and compliant business processes.

The Business Improvement and Assurance Division's mission is to lead and influence key priorities and emerging initiatives, providing a source of sustainable competitive advantage in the execution of UOW strategy. This is achieved by providing focussed, objective advice, applied through a framework of integrated assurance and improvement activities. The work of the Business Assurance and Business Improvement Units is fully integrated in order to provide a cohesive, comprehensive service to the Division's clients.

This position will support the Senior Manager, Strategic Projects in developing and implementing a range of initiatives across UOW. Whilst the focus of this position is business development, the range of projects can also include strategic reviews and process improvement activities.
