As a Senior HR Analyst you will support the HRIS Coordinator in the effective operation and continued development of HRIS solutions and analytics.

With your specialist HRIS knowledge, combined with project experience in all phases of the project life cycle, this position will be responsible to assist the HRIS Coordinator and/or project manage strategic Human Resource system initiatives.

The position will also provide organisational support and solutions to existing systems. With expert knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) you will provide the organisation with effective and meaningful analytics.

Essential Selection Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or IT related discipline.
Previous experience in maintaining records within a HRIS or Payroll System.
A good working knowledge and understanding of relational databases including data modelling and table structures.
Significant experience in querying relational databases with tools such as SQL Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Report Builder, HRIS query builder or similar.
Previous project experience in all life cycles including scoping, configuration, testing support and implementation of Human Resource Systems.
Proven ability to interpret and apply employment related legislation, awards, agreements and organisational policies and procedures to a wide range of circumstances.
Proven ability to efficiently and accurately handle both high/variable workloads and tasks to deadline with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated analytical skills in identifying customer requirements or problems, reviewing processes and in developing solutions, enhancements or offering alternatives.
Significant experience using Excel with advanced features to collate and analyse data sets and produce data in a meaningful output.
Proven ability to prepare and analyse data using various electronic tools to assist management to make effective decisions.
Proven ability to liaise effectively with a variety of customers to achieve satisfactory outcomes to issues or problems.

Previous experience in a Human Resources or Payroll environment.
Ability in preparing and updating manuals and support documentation related to the applications for use by clients and Corporate Human Resources staff.
Experience in user configuration and administration of Aurion.
Experience in writing, maintaining and scheduling reports using SAP Business Objects Crystal reports 2013.
Experience in implementing and maintaining Human Resource/Payroll system modules and advanced functionality.
