Our dynamic team is led by the owners who have been in the industry for 25 years and are dedicated to their team members & clients & instill this culture within Artview landscapes.
We maintain approximately eighty high end residential gardens all located in the Sydney metro area; The majority are located in the lower to upper Nth shore .
The landscape division design & constructs up to twenty high value beautiful gardens a year.
You must love to travel on the road & enjoy being on the go going from job to job. You take pride in everything you do and love being outside & enjoy looking after gardens; pest & disease control, pruning, hedging, weeding, & maintaining plants, soils, lawns and property.
YOUR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake the maintenance of gardens & supervise other team members with a hands on approach as well as being willing & capable to train a horticulture apprentice.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
You must hold a current WH&S card and are a qualified Certificate 3 Parks & gardens trained horticulturist or are a minimum 3rd year horticulturist apprentice. You must hold a current drivers license and provide an RTA driving record. You must be able to competently drive a manual vehicle.
You possess proven horticultural maintenance experience of residential gardens.
You're flexible and enjoy working both on your own and as part of a team. You are responsible and are an independent worker with the ability to follow all instructions as well as act on your own initiative and take pride in everything you do.
You act with respect, loyalty and honesty towards your employer, fellow team members and the clients we service.
Irrigation qualifications or experience, chemical application cert. Operate & Maintain chain saw cert. Operate & maintain power tools cert. Arboriculture cert. Working safely at heights, WH&S Cert. Any other specialist courses or qualifications related to the industry.
EMPLOYMENT PACKAGE & WORK HOURS
A utility vehicle (take home), mobile telephone, uniforms and well above award wages. Wages are ascertained by being consistent with your qualifications and experience.
You are employed under the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award 2010 In a full time capacity. 38 Hours per week with overtime in excess of this. Monday to Friday Nil weekends & public holidays. 4 weeks annual leave and entitlements as per the award.
*You report to your maintenance manager.
