CERTIFICATE III EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

SDN CHILDREN'S SERVICES

PYRMONT, NSW, 2009
FULL TIME

This is excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate educator to work in our SDN Pyrmont centre. We are located in a picturesque historic building which housed Pyrmont Public School in the 1800s, and we’re lucky to share the building with Pyrmont Community Centre and an Out of School Hours Care service run by the City of Sydney.

This gives our centre the wonderful and unique benefit of seeming like a small village, despite being in the city. Children see friends after ballet class or play with school-aged siblings in the afternoons. We cater for 40 children per day, ages ranging from 6 weeks to school age. The centre hours of operation are from 7.30am - 6pm week days.

We are looking for a passionate Cert III Childcare Educator to work as part of a team to provide quality child care whilst observing the policies, procedures, values and philosophies of SDN Children's Services.

Some of the benefits of working for SDN Children's Services include:
Above award pay rates
Positive welcoming culture
Priority child care placement for children of SDN staff members (where available)
Discounted child care fees
Paid parental leave
Finders fee - Referral Scheme
Employee Assistance Program - Free, voluntary and confidential counselling service
SDN Staff Giving Fund
Purchased Leave
Picnic Day - one extra day paid leave for all permanent staff

SDN Children's Services values include: Trustworthy and Reliable, Inclusive and Respectful, Creative and Innovative.
