Salary: $24 - $27 p/hour + casual loading + 9.5% Superannuation

A casual opportunity exists to provide grounds maintenance services at the Shoalhaven Memorial Gardens and Lawn Cemetery and outlying cemeteries. Experience and skills in the provision of horticultural services are required to assist in the maintenance and development of attractive landscaped areas and gardens.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Coordinator – Bereavement Services, the focus of this position is to:
To provide high standard attention to detail in the care and maintenance of buildings, grounds, memorials and horticultural placements and in carrying out minor construction projects.
Undertake ground maintenance tasks such as mowing, whipper snippering, weeding, planting, pruning and other associated tasks using a variety of hand, powered, self-propelled and ride-on gardening equipment.
To carry out all duties with sensitivity and respect for the deceased and the bereaved
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:
MR Drivers Licence
Current NSW WorkCover accredited First Aid Certificate
Ability to interact sensitively with the bereaved in the delivery of services
Proven recent experience in amenity horticulture, using motorized equipment
