Uniting is a NDIS LAC Partner delivering NDIS Local Area Coordination services in NSW during the transition period from January 2016 – June 2018.
About LAC Transition Services
The Local Area Coordination (LAC) Transition Services is rolling out an important aspect of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The aim of the programme is to empower people with disabilities and their families and carers to build goals, awareness and inclusivity enabling them to direct and control their decisions within their lives.

Uniting is seeking a District Support Officer based at our Wollongong office
The District Support Officer will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to our services across the district. Some of these duties include supporting and maintaining data collection information systems, compiling meeting minutes and agendas, organising bookings for NDIA events and forums and making appointments for participants.
Are you the person we are looking for?
As the successful candidate, you will have experience providing excellent administrative services supported by your strong attention to detail, initiative and prioritisation skills. You will need to be experienced in using computers to input information, Word and Excel, as all of our information systems are on-line. You will be highly organised with a proven ability to establish and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Your understanding of the complex needs of people with disability and their families along with Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration will be looked upon favourably.
