The Illawarra Medical Network is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated staff member to join the physician training team. The successful applicant will coordinate educational activities for trainees of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and managing workforce issues for these trainees. The position holder will report to the Network Director of Physician Training and the Wollongong Hospital Director of Physician Education and work closely with the Medical Education Support Officer as a critical component of the Basic Physician Training team.
The position is based at Wollongong Hospital and experience in a clinical and or educational environment is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to work with the IMN team to drive the service development of our rapidly changing Physicians Training program. This position will be primarily responsible for the development and maintainance of Basic Physician Trainee rosters.
