PROJECT DELIVERY OFFICER

We are seeking a Project Delivery Officer to deliver capital and operational projects for Council. Reporting to the Manager Projects, you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Bachelor degree in civil engineering, building or deemed equivalent qualifications skills and experience
Excellent customer service, negotiating, written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated contract and project management skills, knowledge and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Environmental, Work Health & Safety, Anti-Discrimination and other relevant legislation
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated integrity, enthusiasm, commitment and innovation
Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of software including Microsoft Project
Current drivers licence (class C)
Demonstrated knowledge of local government activities and responsibilities
Membership of a relevant professional association
Post graduate qualifications in civil engineering and / or project management
Previous experience in the delivery of large (greater than $10M) civil or building projects
Ability to manage multiple projects through multiple delivery systems
This is a full time position and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government State Award, relevant legislation and Council's policies and procedures.
The position is Grade 19 under Council's salary system with a salary up to $1636.48 per week.
