Want to work in manufacturing?

For many years, manufacturing has been one of the backbone industries in Australia. Despite the impact of automation on manufacturing processing, the manufacturing industry is still strong in Australia.

Manufacturing jobs vary from machinery related jobs to fashion manufacturing and a whole host of smaller businesses, even people working from home on craft based goods. At the other end, manufacturers are responsible for building components for bridges, road and other construction to whole machines, or a range of everyday goods including food products.

Apprenticeships are also popular in manufacturing, in roles such as boilermakers, carpenters and machinists so younger works are welcome in this industry.
